Back to Reality

Moving was fun - and I actually mean that. I enjoyed the drive, and even the unpacking hasn't been too painful.

Here in my little corner of the world it's overcast and the winds are blowing like crazy and it's about 20 degrees cooler than it's supposed to be for this time of year. In other words, it's awesome. Love it. Today I have to meet with the man who's going to be preparing the property I've purchased for my house. Lot clearing, septic tank, water haul tank, etc. I'm looking forward to that. Then, it's back to writing so I can pay for the upcoming house!

I spent part of my weekend coming up with a goal/schedule/plan for this week. If it works out well, I'll carry it over into the following weeks and expand upon it. If it doesn't work out so well - well, I'll try something else. Either way the move is over and I'm officially out of excuses for not getting as much work done. Time to hit it hard, have a lot of fun with it, and see just how much I'm really capable of. Who's with me on this lovely Monday morning?

Anyone?

Hello??

:o)

Hi Michelle,

We went through a similar experience about 18 months ago. I wish you lots of luck - and patience!- but I believe you have a good attitude towards it all! Its taken me over a year to appreciate what we achieved and ours is by no means finished - yet. Plans changed along the way but then that's life! But with time, love and patience I am sure you will end up with a beautiful home! :)

- and it was really windy here too over the weekend with unseasonally lower temperatures :)
