I'm still mourning the loss of a man I'd never met but had hoped to - Capt. Phil Harris of Deadliest Catch.
I know I'll see him in the next life, but I'd hoped to meet him in this one.
Anyway, for those of you who were (are) big fans of his and the show, and therefore share my sadness at having him taken from this world so soon, there's a great article (originally from People magazine) posted on the Cornelia Maria Website, about his last days. It's very touching. It made me cry, but I'm glad I read it.
I also saw something online about one of his sons being arrested on suspicion of DUI. I hate to hear that. I'm sure the pain is still very, very real for them. I just hope and pray they can get it under control and find peace and joy. They seem like good men, just like their dad. I hope they really understand how many people out there care about them and wish them well.
