Do You Need Social Media?

Not long ago, I joined up on all - and I do mean all manner of social media sites. If it was possible to network on it, I joined it. I had fun with it, but that was really the problem. It was fun, and it did help things like pageviews a little bit, but it also started to take a lot of time.

So, the other day I made a serious decision. I got rid of most of it. I hated to, because there were some really nice people on there. But I had to do it, for my own sanity - and income.

I still have my Twitter account, and I still have my Facebook fan page. Other than that, you won't find my social media presence too many places on the Internet. You can always find me here at my blog/Website, you can find me on the AmSAW author-for-hire page, and you can find me on my literary agent's site. I'm still an author on Suite101 and Associated Content, so you can find my info there, too.

Beyond that, just look for my articles out there. You should start seeing a lot more of them, now that I'm not spending all my time on social media sites. That's good for my business and good for my wallet - even if it is just a little bit lonelier here.
